Abstract:
The study which assesses the factors which have led to the low rearing of cattle in Ntoroko district as this is one of improved technologies to improve productivity.
Due to low cattle productivity and inefficient resources such as land and capital, studies about adoption of improved agricultural technologies and emphasizing on use of improved breeds of cattle as are necessary for increased productivity. As such, this study examines the decline of cattle production and their importance among smallholder farmers. The specific objectives of the study is: to determine the methods of cattle rearing, determine the factors that have led to low production of cattle, find out the contributions of cattle production and establish the possible measures to problems.
The detailed background about the origin of the low cattle production which the responses in various part of the world the causing factors mainly the area of operation is detailed in this proposal. It involves extensive literature about existing information of the research from various sources and researchers. The various methods and materials responsible for conducting the research have been also proposed where the total of 60 people will be sampled out as responds being chosen by a simple random sampling from the entire population of subcounty which is to be used as the case study are a questionnaire will be used to collect data and the interview guide for interviewing the respondents.
