Abstract:
The recess term report covey’s detailed activities carried out at MT Elgon National Park Kapkwai for a period of eight (8) weeks. Chapter one ,covers the introduction of recess, objectives of internship, historical background of Mt Elgon national park, organizational structure of the park, departments, accessibility , maps showing the geographical location and size of the park. It also has the history, mission, vision, and the organizational structure of Uganda wildlife Authority. Chapter two this chapter talks about the materials and methods used in the field to meet the internship objectives. Chapter three coveys the results attained from my internship, following the activities carried out during the trip Chapter four displays the skills acquired during the field attachment, how use full it is to my professional and career. This chapter also gives the strength and weakness of Mt Elgon national park. To add on the chapter highlights other activities assigned by the field supervisor, the degree of accomplishment and how the activities were relevant in uplifting my professional carrier.
