Report for field attachment carried out in mountain Elgon national park.

Abstract

This report documents the industrial attachment carried out at Kapkwai Forest Exploration Centre located in Mountain Elgon National Park, Kapchorwa district. The attachment aimed at bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application in the fields of tourism, conservation, and environmental management. During the attachment period, I participated in activities such as visitor reception, guided nature walks, environmental education, forest conservation practices, trail maintenance, and community outreach. The attachment enhanced my practical skills, professional ethics, teamwork abilities, and understanding of sustainable tourism and protected area management.
