Abstract

This report is a representation of the internship program which was carried out at Deezmia Agro imports and exports Ltd for the fulfilment of the requirement for the Award of Diploma in Crop Production and Management at Busitema University. The internship basically covered a number of learning areas which included Crop production, aquaculture, apiculture, piggery and horticulture among others. The field work involved a number of activities under the different units which included production of fingerlings, nursery bed and kitchen garden establishment under horticulture, diagnosing and treatment of pig diseases under piggery, good agronomic practices under crop production among others, In Summary; the internship was helpful in equipping me with hands on skills as I acquired practical that I acquired from the production of pigs, fingerling aquaculture and horticulture under drop production. The report also portrays Location, Mission, Vision, objectives of the organization, Farm size and Products and services offered to their customers are job Opportunity and training community members.
