Industrial training report carried out at Ngariam sub-county, Katakwi district local government.

Abstract

This report documents all about my industrial training period in Ngariam Sub County from 21 May 2018 to 27 July 2018 it was conducted every week from Monday to Friday, either in the sub-county headquarters or in various parishes in Ngariam Sub County. It consists of four chapters which include the following Chapter one -Contains the introduction part which includes things like the location of Ngariam s/c, the origin, the services the sub-county offers to its people, the climate, the area and the organization structure of Ngariam sub-county Chapter two -Contains description of attachment which includes things like the background of industrial training, activities like orientation, meat inspection, distribution of things like goats, sheep, Heifers, posho and beans to selected beneficiaries in Ngariam sub-county. It also includes activities like sensitizing farmers on pasture production and management, sensitizing farmers on animal treatment and management, citrus management activities, and vaccination of Shoats against PPR. Chapter three -It contains the impact of attachment which includes things like skills and qualifications gained from attachment e.g. experience in animal treatment, report writing, public speech, mobilization of farmers, and settling of disputes among farmers it also contains responsibilities undertaken e.g. mobilization and training of farmers. It also has the correlation of activities performed in the field with classroom work e.g. the same teaching procedures and same measurements Chapter four-chapter four contains conclusions and recommendations both to the sub-county and to the university.
