An internship report carried out at Sebei Elgon cooperative union (SECU) at Kapchorwa

Abstract

This the summary of the report carried of Sebei Elgon co-Operative Union from 18th Feb to 2nd may 2022. This report has four chapters and they include the following in chapter on it highlights the introduction, historical background staff, funding facilities, governance structure of the union activities and objectives of industrial training at Sebei Elgon Co-operative Union In chapter two, if highlights the descriptions of attachments carried out Sebei Elgon Co-Operative Union like weeding of coffee nursery beds, pruning of bananas, watering of coffee seedling, soil composition, watering of onion nursery beds, gap filling I chapter three, it focuses on the impacts of the attachments like skills and qualification gained from attachment like skills in potting of coffee seedlings and how to mix soil for potting. And this chapter also contained responsibilities under taken during the training attachment activities that are correlated classroom work, challenges faced during the training few field, supervisor, competition with other workers, hugger. We were not able to go through the whole process of machines in the union and their solutions. In chapter four it contains conclusions, recommendation like provision of food for lunch having different field for internees to avoid competition with other workers and it also contain reference and appendices
