A report for industrial training carried out from Masafu sub county in Busia district from 28/Feb/2022 to 6/May/2022.

Abstract

This is a composition of four different chapters which introduce the reader to statements details of activities accomplished during industrial training from 28th Feb to 6th May 2022 at Masafu sub county in Busia district. Chapter one introduces the reader about the background information of the attachment organization and objectives of the agency. Chapter two describes the different activities carried out during the training which include; training farmers on the fall army worm, a visit on various farms such as orange and mango fields, banana plantation, onion, Sukuma, tomato, cabbage fields and also at demonstration sites where different practices were carried out as like weeding, pruning, spraying, fertilizer application and others. A study about mushroom growing, data collection, monitoring and attending meetings were also carried out. Chapter three explains the impacts of the attachments to me as a student say; skills gained, responsibilities that I undertook during the attachment, the influence of the attachment activities with classroom knowledge and the challenges I encountered during the training. Chapter four is about the conclusion and the recommendations I made. The last part shows the appendices and references as far as my report is concerned.
